Busser/Server Hungry Pot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot - 1.0 Danbury, CT Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Seasonal | Full-time | Contract $16.95 - $25.06 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Guest relations Bar setup Cleaning messes in dining areas Full Job Description Responsibilities & Duties Primary job function is to clean tables and dining areas in a prompt and efficient manner. All surfaces should be wiped clean with a sanitizing towel, tables reset, clean/lined garbage pail, fill napkin dispenser, and floor swept. Menu knowledge should be extensive. Awareness and ability to describe all food, drink, and special menu items, if asked by a guest. Bathroom checks at least once per hour with corresponding checklist in use. Any issues rectified immediately, or brought to the manager's attention. Assembling and cleaning of busser carts for service along with preparation of necessary. Ensure that there are sufficient grills in the dining area for use throughout the service. Teamwork is essential to a smooth operating work environment. Assisting servers in maintaining sections throughout the shift. Assisting bartenders in maintaining/stocking the bar area throughout the shift. Should possess the ability to multi-task and be aware of several tables progression through the dining experience. Initiating breakdown of table within 3 minutes of guest departure. Providing all departing guests with a sincere "Thank You" and invitation to return to K-Pot. If a guest relays that an issue was present during their experience, get a manager immediately. Ability to lift boxes occasionally up to 25lbs. Standing on one's feet in a fast paced environment for a period of approximately 4 hours or longer. At the end of the shift, the dining room is broken down and reset for the next day's service, including all floor mopped, mats washed in kitchen utility sink area, bathrooms brought to standard, exterior menu boards brought into foyer area and all busser carts cleaned. Maybe asked to perform other related tasks or duties as deemed necessary.
