In this vital role, you will serve as the essential link between the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that food is delivered promptly and tables are maintained impeccably. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and hospitality operations while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met. Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space, supporting smooth service flow. Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support as needed to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping down surfaces and organizing service stations to uphold health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary needs to ensure guest preferences are accommodated. Support food preparation tasks when necessary, including plating or garnishing dishes under supervision. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and food safety standards to ensure guest health and well-being. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests. Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during busy service hours. Experience with bussing or serving in banquet settings is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across different hospitality contexts. Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary environments enhances your ability to support team needs effectively.
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
