The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately to guests, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet quality standards before serving. Assist servers in clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area. Communicate effectively with team members regarding guest needs and special requests. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus. Ability to perform bussing duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Basic cooking skills are beneficial for understanding menu items. Strong customer service skills, with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Background in hospitality is desirable. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
