Food Server

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest services, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality and culinary sectors while contributing to a welcoming dining environment. Duties Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner Assist with food preparation and presentation according to established standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas Follow food safety procedures and hygiene regulations at all times Manage guest orders efficiently, ensuring timely service Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Restock supplies as needed and ensure all equipment is functioning properly Requirements Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels Kitchen experience or culinary background is preferred but not mandatory A proactive approach to teamwork and customer satisfaction This role provides a dynamic environment where you can enhance your hospitality skills while delivering exceptional service to guests.
