In this energetic role, you'll ensure our guests enjoy seamless service by maintaining a clean and inviting environment, efficiently delivering food and beverages, and supporting our servers in creating memorable moments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic restaurant setting. Duties Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a spotless dining area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to guests' tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Support in bussing tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and trash, helping to keep the dining space organized and welcoming. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes of supplies, or cleaning equipment using safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, floors, and dining areas through regular cleaning routines. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS for order accuracy. Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering basic questions about the menu, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests. Capable of standing, walking, and moving around for extended periods during shifts. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus. A proactive attitude with a focus on guest services, cleanliness, and teamwork to contribute to a lively dining atmosphere.
