In this vibrant role, you will serve as the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. Your multitasking abilities will shine as you coordinate between the front of house and kitchen, delivering food promptly and maintaining a lively, positive atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service expertise while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage seating arrangements, and provide friendly guest relations to foster a welcoming atmosphere Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas to uphold high standards of hospitality Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, payments, and reservations with precision Answer guest inquiries over the phone using professional phone etiquette, providing information about menu items and reservations Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure special requests or dietary needs are communicated clearly and promptly Support guest services by addressing concerns courteously and ensuring every visitor has an exceptional experience Qualifications Prior experience as a host/host or in food service is highly preferred Strong communication skills with an ability to engage confidently with guests and team members Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles enhances your ability to excel in this position Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for managing reservations and guest inquiries Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm Previous hotel or restaurant experience is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key Embark on a rewarding journey where your hospitality talents help create unforgettable dining moments!
