Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from start to finish Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, processing sales transactions efficiently Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Provide expert beverage service, including cocktail mixing, wine recommendations, spirits knowledge, and drink presentation Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling, serving, and cleaning duties Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain a seamless dining environment Must have minimum 2+ years experience Skills Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Proven ability in food service roles with a focus on fine dining or upscale casual environments Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and handling sales reports Culinary experience or food industry background preferred for better menu understanding and guest recommendations Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in restaurant settings such as host/hostess duties or serving roles is highly valued Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for hospitality meets your talent for creating memorable dining experiences.
