Required Years of Experience 1 year Job Details As a server, you help set the standards by which our restaurant is judged, in your personal appearance, your disposition, and your attitude towards the guest. You are always in full view of the guest. You only get one opportunity to make a first impression. Each table and guest is looking for a different experience. It is your job to assess what type of experience that guest wants to have. Anticipating, prioritizing and solid execution will be your tools to customize service for every guest. Good communication skills are a must. Your working relationship with the entire staff is vital to the operation of the restaurant. You must be able to anticipate guest's needs, as well as communicate those needs to the ones who need that information. Remember that you are here to assist the guest in every way. Here are some basic server roles: Server is the guide to their guests experience

Show enthusiasm towards guests and product

Server is the food and wine tour guide

Prepare table for service

Deliver food, wine and beverages

Manage section and service

Computer input of orders

Reconcile checks

Clear and reset tables

Help fellow employees, maintain a team mentality

Stock side-stations throughout the shift

Perform opening/running/closing side work A server needs to have a positive attitude at all times and be able to maintain that attitude in any situation. Our goal is to be busy.
