Back Server We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated back server to join our team at SHIA. As a back server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for every one of our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless set-up and delivery of each course, supporting our serving team, and ensuring service standards are upheld.Key Responsibilities:
Ensure proper sanitation and precise table settings at each table prior to guests being seated. Support servers by taking note of dietary restrictions and allergies mentioned by guests. Maintain a polished, calm, and professional appearance. Keep an attentive eye on tables, refilling water glasses, clearing plates between courses, and anticipating guest needs throughout the meal. Assist in coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes, supporting the seamless flow of service. Address any immediate guest concerns with care, informing servers or management as needed to provide a smooth dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area by resetting tables, polishing utensils, and arranging seating as required. Actively support SHIA's commitment to sustainability by minimizing waste and handling items with care, in line with SHIA's values of responsible sourcing.Qualifications:
Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings strongly preferred. Knowledge of food and beverage, particularly Korean cuisine, is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Alignment with SHIA's mission of sustainability and community-centered hospitality.Requirements:
Availability from Tuesday through Saturday, 3:30 PM until close (typically 11 PM). Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move through a busy dining room comfortably.Work Location:
