Job Description
The Lewes Yacht Club Restaurant is seeking experienced Servers, Bartenders, and Hosts! LYC offers a competitive salary, excellent facilities, a fun environment, and food made from scratch. Candidates must be driven, and passionate about taking great care of our members and guests. Servers typically make $8 an hour plus auto-gratuity. You must be versatile and accommodating, a team leader, collaborative, organized, and have a minimum of one year experience in full service upscale dining . You must have your ABC certification through the State of Delaware to be considered, and must be able to pass a background check. Hosts typically start at $16/hr. Duties
- Provide exceptional service throughout the member's dining experience.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests.
- Craft delicious drinks to standard recipes efficiently and with a smile.
- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service and minimize wait times.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our menu and make recommendations to guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and presentation.
- Provide exceptional hospitality and ensure guests feel welcome and valued. Qualifications
- Minimum age for the Server position is 18. Bartender minimum age is 21. Host minimum age is 16.
- Prior experience in a fine dining environment or a related role is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables at once.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with electronic POS systems.
- A passion for providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.
- Experience working in a team environment and contributing to a positive and productive work atmosphere.
- Availability to work a minimum of 3-4 shifts per week, including evenings and weekends.
