Duties Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to ensure an enjoyable dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders (handwritten) Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations and cash handling procedures Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, including assembling orders and maintaining food safety standards Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction by recommending popular or new offerings Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining areas, counters, and kitchen stations, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations Operate kitchen equipment safely when assisting with food prep or service needs, supporting overall restaurant operations Experience Previous experience in restuaants Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through strong time management skills Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety practices within the food industry or restaurant environment Experience with retail sales transactions or cashiering roles that involve upselling or processing diverse payment methods is advantageous Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment or working in a café setting will be considered an asset Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service while honing your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment!
