Introduction:

Common Ground Hospitality is seeking personable and efficient Servers to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will be the face of our dining experience, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable moments for our guests. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food, enjoy interacting with people, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests, ensuring a satisfying dining experience. View your section and shift as your personal storefront, maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of tables at all times, both during the guest experience and while waiting for guests to be seated. Take and process orders accurately, offering recommendations and answering questions about the menu. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all items meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Handle guest concerns and requests with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen and other staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Process payments and ensure accuracy in billing. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong time management and multitasking skills are a must. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
