Shift available - 2pm-8:45pm / Friday +
Saturday:
2pm-10:15pm Job Summary At Aunt Berta's Kitchen, our Food Expeditors are the bridge between the kitchen and our guests. They ensure every order is complete, accurate, and presented with care before it leaves the kitchen. During busy shifts, our Expo team works alongside cashiers, servers, and runners to keep orders flowing smoothly while delivering the warm hospitality we're known for. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, communicates well with others, and takes pride in creating an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Verify every order for accuracy before it leaves the service line. Organize and prioritize tickets to keep service moving efficiently. Package carryout and delivery orders neatly and completely. Communicate with cooks, cashiers, runners, and servers to ensure smooth operations. Deliver food to guests when needed. Assist cashiers with guest requests during busy periods. Refill drinks and check on guests as needed. Restock sauces, utensils, to-go containers, and front-of-house supplies. Help maintain cleanliness throughout the dining room. Support the team wherever needed to provide excellent guest service. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in roles involving food expediting or kitchen support. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and basic numeracy skills for order accuracy. Knowledge of food preparation, handling, safety standards, and culinary practices is a plus. Experience working in banquet settings or hotel hospitality environments is advantageous. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and front-of-house team. A background in cooking or culinary arts can enhance understanding of food presentation and timing. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.50 per hour
