Job Description

Job Summary The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing excellent service during breakfast hours to residents in an apartment community. This role focuses on delivering meals with care and ensuring a pleasant dining experience while catering to the unique needs of the residents.
Responsibilities:
Set up the dining area for breakfast service, ensuring that all utensils, plates, and beverages are readily available. Serve breakfast items to residents promptly and courteously, accommodating individual dietary needs and preferences. Assist residents during meals as needed, which may include pouring beverages, or offering any other necessary support to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Foster positive relationships with residents by engaging in friendly conversations and making them feel valued during their meals. After the meal service, clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and dining areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service or hospitality, particularly in a residential setting, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to the needs of residents. Must be patient, compassionate, and sensitive to the needs of the residents.
Working Conditions :
Primarily indoor work in the dining area with regular interaction with elderly residents. May require standing for extended periods and lifting objects up to 25 pounds.
