Dining Room Supervisor & Assistant Clubhouse Manager Job Summary:
The server is attentive, friendly and a team player. They are responsible for ensuring all members receive the best quality food and beverage service in a timely and courteous manner. This is achieved through ensuring they follow proper service standards outlined in the manual and supported by colleagues and managers. The server is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all areas including but not limited to tables, chairs, centerpieces, floors, bathrooms, and all areas behind the pool window including the service counter, the floor and equipment. The server is also responsible for taking orders from members, utilizing the POS system, and delivering orders in a timely fashion.
Job Tasks:
Arrive in proper uniform for the shift to ensure the team success. The server is responsible for reading function sheets and performing event related tasks including but not limited to banquet and event set-up. Execute opening and closing procedures according to guidelines and posted tasks. Greet the members immediately upon their arrival. Be accessible to offer assistance. Use member's names whenever possible to create a friendly, genuinely welcoming atmosphere for members, their families, and guests. Ensures member/guest satisfaction by remaining attentive to tables; replenishes items as necessary. Follow procedures in the Server Handbook. Be knowledgeable about the various menus and answer questions regarding the food items and specials. Responsible for plating desserts for the window (i.e., ice cream, pie) Run expediting shifts as needed. Tasks include preparing all plates with garnish and condiments prior to being served. Check all trays before delivering them to the table to ensure you have all the necessary utensils, condiments, food and beverage. Communicate effectively with fellow team members to increase the level of service to members and guests. Maintain a clean workplace during your shift (monitor trash cans, wipe tables and chairs, sweep). Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas. Ensures safe working conditions throughout Club operations. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds, as needed. Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms. Serving experience preferred, but not required.
