Job Description
Pelican Golf Club is currently looking to hire a hospitality-driven server for our fine dining restaurant located in our main clubhouse. We are seeking individuals who take pride in refined hospitality and share our commitment to delivering thoughtful, personalized service to our members and their guests. The restaurant is open Thursday through Saturday for dinner service only. We offer competitive pay, with eligible team members receiving additional compensation through our shared tip pool program, rewarding collaboration and exceptional guest service. Must be available for holidays and weekends. Responsibilities Provide thoughtful, attentive service while anticipating member preferences and creating a memorable dining experience. Welcome and acknowledge members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Develop comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage menus as well as daily features to confidently guide dining selections. Execute each course with proper timing, presentation, and attention to detail. Learn and remember members' names, preferences, and dining habits to provide personalized service. Maintain a thorough understanding of Club service standards, etiquette, and dining room procedures. Collaborate with culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of service. Maintain a clean, organized, and presentation-ready station throughout each shift. Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and Club policies while maintaining a polished professional appearance. Support special events and additional operational needs as assigned. Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and additional hours as business needs require. Qualifications Previous experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, country club, or private club service preferred. Passion for hospitality with a commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to remain composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
