Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our establishment. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining quality standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Process payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with accuracy. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial. Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. Experience in bussing or host/host roles can enhance your candidacy.
