Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to assist guests in their selections. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders are delivered accurately. Monitor guest needs throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment. Assist with cash handling and basic math calculations during the payment process. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the culinary industry. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Experience in upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and drive sales is beneficial. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
