'Tween Water Resort and Spa on beautiful Captiva Island is now hiring for positions as Food Runners. We are looking for friendly, courteous and reliable people with excellent customer relation skills to join our dynamic team. Successful candidates will have the ability to remain calm and professional at all times in a fast-paced environment. You must have reliable transportation to travel to and from work on island. These are primarily evening positions, starting late afternoon and throughout the evening meal service hours Must enjoy interacting in a fast-paced environment Be able to read, write and speak in English language Possession of good communication skills essential to liaise between chefs, food servers and other staff is essential Have the ability to lift and carry food trays of up to 50lbs Have a good working knowledge of accepted standards of food hygiene Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance Must contribute to a positive team environment Be able to work in confined spaces and perform all duties within extreme temperature ranges Have the ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and / or sit to perform essential job functions
