$10.98/hr + Tips. Average Hourly is $18-20/hr. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, enhancing their overall dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food service. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area with speed and accuracy. Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and meet quality standards before serving. Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, including bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer requests or concerns. Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support the culinary team by helping with food preparation as needed. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specials to effectively communicate with guests. Experience Previous experience in food handling or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is a plus. Experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is advantageous for understanding workflow. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
