Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a passion for customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. This is a team position and you will receive cash tips nightly in addition to your hourly pay. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all orders are complete and presented according to restaurant standards before serving. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Must be able to lift heavy trays or equipment as needed.
