Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to create a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations throughout service Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain a smooth operation Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Previous experience in food preparation, bartending, or host/hostess roles is desirable Passion for hospitality with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable dining experiences Join us to be part of a lively team where your energy fuels exceptional service!
