OUR MISSION:

To Innovate and Elevate the Spirit of Hospitality. Kapow is opening in Fort Lauderdale, and we're building the team that opens it. Since 2011, Kapow has been part locals bar, part exceptional restaurant: modern Asian food with real edge, a serious sushi and beverage program, and a room where everybody belongs. When people ask about our demographic, we say "YES." Boca Raton and Delray Beach proved it works. Fort Lauderdale is the third stage, and it's a full Kapow Noodle Bar from day one. We're looking for Servers who know taking an order is the easy part. Making the night is the job. Full-time and part-time positions available.

WHAT THE ROLE REQUIRES

2+ years serving in a high-volume, full-service restaurant Confidence recommending food and drinks, not just writing them down Curiosity about Asian cuisine, sushi and sake, and a drive to learn the menu cold Composure with a full section on a packed night Clear, kind communication with hosts, bartenders, support staff and the kitchen Florida food handler training, or the ability to complete it within 60 days of hire Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Guiding every table through the menu: the dishes to start with, the sushi to share, the drink that pairs Offering the next round, the dessert and the after-dinner drink. Never assume a guest is done. Checking back within two minutes or two bites, whichever comes first Knowing our weekly programming and specials cold, so every guest gets the most out of their night Spotting the birthday, the anniversary and the first-timer, and making it count Ringing every item, every time, and handling payments accurately Responsible alcohol service, every guest, every shift Helping teammates without being asked. "That's not my section" doesn't exist here.

WHO YOU ARE

You've worked a floor where regulars asked for your section by name. You can carry a full section, read every table and still find the moment that makes someone's night. Some guests want the full story behind the dish, some just want their food. You know the difference. You're not afraid of a busy room. You want one.

WHAT WE OFFER

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Long periods of standing and walking. Carrying trays and lifting up to 25 lbs. A fast, high-energy restaurant environment.
