Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction
• Greet customers and present menu
• Make menu recommendations or share additional information upon request
• Take and serve food/drinks orders and up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Arrange table settings and maintain tables clean and tidy
• Running food to the tables
• Working long shifts
• Check products for quality and correct any problems
• Deliver checks and collect payments
• Working closely with all serving and kitchen staff
• Follow directions from the general manager and the assistant manager
• Help to open and closing the restaurant
• Help to keep the restaurant clean at all times
• Follow and respect the orders of the superiors rapidly to comply with all the professional duties
• Prepare / serve beverages

Qualifications:

• Respectful, polite, work ethics
• Barista experience is a plus
• Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress or barista
• Service orientation and excellent organizational skills
• Hands-on experience with a cash register or POS
• Active listening and effective communication competencies
• Food safety training will be considered a plus
• Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is a Must
• Must have a positive attitude and a strong commitment to service
• Think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
