Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently using reservation systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a smooth seating process with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining cleanliness through proper dishwashing, food handling, and cleaning procedures in line with food safety standards Support servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and delivering food orders swiftly from the kitchen to the dining area Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, including basic meal prep or garnishing dishes to enhance presentation Maintain the cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms, and service stations through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and order taking when required Skills Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles demonstrating excellent customer service skills Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and POS transactions Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Experience with beverage preparation, dishwashing, and kitchen support tasks preferred Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as OpenTable or Aloha POS is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where guests feel valued from the moment they walk in!
