Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, ensuring guest satisfaction. Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, washing dishes, and sanitizing kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards. Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, basic cooking tasks, and food handling to support smooth kitchen operations. Support the front-of-house team by managing guest relations, addressing inquiries promptly, and upselling menu items to enhance sales. Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling practices and ensure all areas meet health regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for processing sales transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing sales accurately. Knowledge of wine, spirits, beverage service, and cocktail preparation is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred; sanitation and food handling knowledge are essential.
