restaurant to support exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced hotel environment. The Server Assistant helps servers by promptly clearing and resetting tables, running food, and maintaining spotless dining and service areas. This role refills water and accompaniments, anticipates guest needs, and coordinates closely with servers, hosts, and the kitchen. Following strict food safety and sanitation standards, the Server Assistant completes opening and closing side work while modeling Marriott's culture of respect, teamwork, and service excellence with every guest interaction. Responsibilities Support servers by promptly clearing, resetting, and preparing tables in a high-volume restaurant environment Refill water, bread, and accompaniments and assist with food running to ensure seamless guest service Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and side work areas Coordinate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to support smooth seating flow and timely service Monitor guest needs, respond to basic requests, and escalate issues to servers or supervisors Follow Marriott brand standards, food safety, and sanitation procedures at all times Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking and setting up service stations Provide courteous, professional interactions that reflect Marriott's service culture Required Skills Table bussing and resetting Food running Basic food safety and sanitation Restaurant cleaning procedures Customer service in hospitality Coordination with FOH and BOH staff Time management in high-volume settings Carrying trays and lifting safely Point-of-sale awareness (support role) Following brand and service standards
