Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. Your ability to provide outstanding customer service and maintain guest relations will be key to your success in this position. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of hospitality. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with other restaurant duties as needed, including restocking supplies and supporting team members. Requirements Proven experience in customer service or hospitality roles is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and providing excellent guest relations is highly desirable.
