SERVER JOB DESCRIPTION

Servers must welcome all guests with a smile. Serves guests with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner. Shares menu knowledge to help food and beverage selections and promotes upselling and daily specials. Shows up ready to work at scheduled shift in complete, neat, clean, uniform, with hair pull up or back. Will learn and promote the company's mission statement. Promotes an attitude of teamwork and treats each table and section as if it were their own. Practices all sanitation protocol, including current government regulations, also being aware of proper chemical use and storage. Learn table numbers. Learn menu items and ingredients. Learn how to navigate menu and ordering on handhelds Learn how to use register, credit card machines, and take out tablets. Know how to count change back to customer. Learn how to properly answer the phone and take to go orders. Must have an updated food handlers certificate. Must be able to stand and walk for 7-8 hours Must be able to lift 25lbs
