Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process sales transactions efficiently Provide expert guidance on menu selections, including wine and spirits recommendations, upselling items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly Maintain knowledge of food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a positive dining experience Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing payments and calculating bills Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest interactions Food safety certification or willingness to obtain necessary food handling certifications prior to employment Experience with bussing tables, host/hostess duties, or supporting kitchen staff is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required in a fast-paced restaurant setting Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets endless opportunities for growth!
