Full-Time / Part-Time Join the Sunburst Community Care Team! Sunburst Community Care is seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Dining Server to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. At Sunburst Community Care, dining is about more than serving meals. It is an opportunity to create meaningful connections, provide outstanding service, and make our residents feel at home. We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude to work, enjoys interacting with seniors, and takes pride in providing excellent service. What You'll Do Provide friendly, attentive, and respectful dining service to our residents. Greet residents and help create a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere. Set up dining rooms before each meal and properly reset them afterward. Take meal selections and communicate orders accurately to the kitchen. Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner. Learn residents' names, preferences, and dining routines. Provide patience and additional assistance when serving residents in Memory Care. Follow dietary instructions, texture modifications, allergy precautions, and other established dining requirements. Clear tables and maintain clean and sanitary dining areas. Assist with stocking, dishwashing, cleaning, and other dining-service responsibilities as needed. Communicate resident concerns or changes in eating habits to the appropriate team member. Work closely with culinary, caregiving, nursing, and other departments to provide an excellent resident experience. Follow all food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and Sunburst Community Care policies. What We're Looking For A positive attitude and genuine desire to serve seniors. Dependability and punctuality. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Patience and compassion when working with residents living with dementia or cognitive impairments. Previous restaurant, hospitality, senior living, or food-service experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely perform the physical requirements of the position. Must meet applicable employment and background-screening requirements.
