Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance their dining experience Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or other relevant platforms Assist with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation to uphold safety standards Serve drinks including cocktails, spirits, wine, and other beverages with professionalism and flair Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction Manage cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols at all times Experience Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with beverage service is highly desirable Culinary experience or background in the food industry is a plus Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous host/hostess or cashiering experience preferred but not required Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to deliver outstanding guest experiences!
