Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clarity and precision. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments, while managing cash register operations. Upsell menu items such as cocktails, wines, spirits, or specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food safety standards, wine pairings, and beverage options like spirits and cocktails. Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and fostering positive guest relations. Support sanitation protocols and food safety regulations to uphold health standards in all service areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours and contribute to a lively nightclub or fine dining atmosphere. Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightclubs is highly preferred. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous for understanding menu components and food safety practices. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
