Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner and become the vital link that ensures our guests enjoy seamless, exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you'll be the first to deliver hot, fresh dishes from the kitchen to our valued guests, helping to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help uphold our high standards of food presentation, safety, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Deliver prepared food items promptly from the kitchen to tables or designated areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and organizing dishes for service. Support the serving team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper handling procedures and cleaning protocols. Support catering events or banquet setups by delivering food items efficiently and assisting with meal assembly when needed. Provide excellent guest service by demonstrating friendly communication skills, phone etiquette, and guest relations awareness. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential! Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and basic culinary skills such as knife skills or meat cutting is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of food safety standards and dietary accommodations is advantageous. Prior experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel settings can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
