Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and energetic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest services and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. Duties Greet guests promptly and courteously as they arrive at the restaurant. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Clover POS system or cash register. Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions guests may have about the menu. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Assist with food preparation as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and the overall dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and special requests. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is mandatory. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, is a plus. Strong guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 pounds when necessary.
