Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine and spirits knowledge, to enhance guest experience and promote upselling opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety Process cash and credit transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and sales transaction processing Maintain guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions Knowledge of wine, spirits, beverage service, and cocktail preparation to enhance guest recommendations and upselling efforts Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for hospitality makes every guest feel special!
