Job Description

Indian River Colony Club is a full service, private country club community of over 800 homes located in Viera, Florida, close to I 95. Our 55+ community is primarily made up of military members, and our mission is to provide exceptional service to our residents. We are a well‑established corporation offering a great working environment, supportive leadership, and a member‑focused culture. We're seeking two part‑time Food Runners to join the team at our onsite restaurant, the At Ease Club. This role is essential in ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate delivery of meals to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Delivery:
Promptly receive prepared dishes from the kitchen and deliver them to the correct tables with attention to plate presentation, temperature, and accompanying condiments.
Order Verification:
Double-check order tickets against prepared dishes to ensure accuracy, making sure all special requests are met.
Communication:
Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff regarding order status and coordinate with servers to anticipate guest needs.
Guest Interaction:
Respond to basic guest inquiries regarding dishes while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Cleanliness:
Keep the expo station and surrounding areas clean, including the proper disposal of used trays and plates.
Food Safety:
Adhere to all food safety guidelines and best practices when handling food.

Set-Up/Stocking:
Ensure that all condiments and dressings are stocked throughout the day.
Knowledge of Menu:
Familiarity with menu items, ingredients, and potential dietary restrictions. Schedule & Pay $16.00 per hour Wednesdays & Fridays, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Part‑time position We participate in E‑Verify to confirm employment eligibility for all new hires.
