Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Experience with food and beverage service, along with strong communication skills, is essential to succeed in this role. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with a background in fine dining or hospitality settings. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer relations, and sales within a vibrant culinary environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Ensure timely delivery of orders and check on guests throughout their meal Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations (bussing) Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards at all times Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods Provide guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests professionally Support host/hostess duties when necessary, including seating arrangements and reservations management via OpenTable Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous nightclub or hospitality experience is advantageous This role offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality skills can flourish while providing exceptional service to our guests.
