Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS Toast Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Manage table settings, bussing, and sanitation to maintain a clean and inviting environment Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings and dietary accommodations such as gluten-free or vegetarian options Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including sanitation and food handling procedures Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns professionally and ensuring a memorable dining experience Qualifications Proven restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and transactions Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or food industry roles is preferred Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling operations
