JOB BRIEF

Take orders and deliver food and beverages to guests while providing a professional, courteous, and memorable experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
• Greet and attend to customers upon entrance.
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food and beverages.
• Take and serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive and professional attitude and pass information on to manager.
• Issue bills and accept payment.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven restaurant serving experience
• Customer-oriented approach and patience
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Hands on experience in cashier duties
• Excellent people skills
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Ability to carry heavy serving trays
• High school diploma a plus
