Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with genuine hospitality. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions. Process cash and credit card transactions smoothly, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly for optimal guest relations. Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining, or nightlife venues such as nightclubs is highly preferred. Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving, bussing, and supporting team members. Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail making, and beverage service is a plus. Excellent math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling duties confidently.
