Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with menu selections based on guest preferences. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling techniques to maximize sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and beverage service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction. Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally, fostering a welcoming environment for all patrons. Experience Previous food service experience in restaurants or the food industry is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to upsell and elevate guest experiences. Strong math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Experience with OpenTable reservations management or similar booking platforms is beneficial. A background in hospitality or guest services that emphasizes guest relations and positive interactions.
