Job Description As a Server , you will provide friendly, attentive service while creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, answer menu questions, and ensure guests receive excellent service throughout their meal. Server:
Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations on food and beverages. Accurately take and memorize guest orders and communicate special requests to the kitchen and service team. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper presentation and service standards. Monitor tables throughout the meal, anticipate guest needs, and respond to additional requests. Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverage offerings, and applicable recipes. Assist with side work, restaurant cleanliness, setup, and other assigned duties. Accurately total guest bills, process payments, or refer guests to the appropriate cashier. Provide friendly, professional service while creating a positive and welcoming dining experience. Follow all food safety, sanitation, service, and company standards. Qualifications What You Will Bring as a
Server:
Minimum of 1 year of serving experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently while following established procedures and company policies. Strong attention to detail and ability to remain professional in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Florida driver's license.
Requirements:
Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the restaurant during the shift. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as business needs require. Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace.
