Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from arrival to departure Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food safety and proper food handling procedures Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all diners Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setup, breakdown, and sanitation tasks in compliance with health regulations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus for reservation management Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs gracefully Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes Experience in serving, bussing tables, hosting/hostess duties, or food preparation is highly desirable Hospitality background with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable dining experiences Join us in delivering outstanding hospitality!
