Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, and relay orders promptly to the kitchen Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all transactions Clear tables, bus tables as needed, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery in a fast-paced environment Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable for managing bookings and optimizing seating efficiency Support other team members during busy periods by assisting with food prep or bussing when necessary Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest interactions Culinary experience or background in food handling, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards is highly desirable Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a lively environment such as a nightclub or restaurant setting Join our team where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
