Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area. Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests accurately and promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature. Assist servers with food running, supporting smooth service flow during busy hours. Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and organizing utensils and condiments. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes of supplies, or trash removal following safe lifting practices. Support in basic food handling and safety procedures to uphold health standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure guest needs are met efficiently. Assist with general cleaning duties including bussing tables, sweeping floors, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling procedures is a plus. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for processing orders or payments. Familiarity with restaurant operations like serving, food running, and guest services enhances your effectiveness in this role.
