Server Summary of Position The Server plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to provide residents and guests with the best possible dining experience and deliver Platinum Service® with each interaction. Essential Job Functions

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions regarding the menu.
• Follow sanitary regulations at all times.
• Provide Platinum Service with each dining experience.
• Set up meal trays, food carts and set up the dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas prior and after meals are served.
• Assist in checking resident trays before distribution.
• Pour hot and cold beverages for residents. Assist residents with opening their containers and condiments as needed. Pay special attention to resident and guest needs while they are enjoying their dining experience.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to special events and parties hosted at the community.
• Bus tables during and after the meals.
• Provide support services to other dining rooms, during events and activities as needed.
• Clean dining room area according to the cleaning schedules and assignments.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
