Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques to assist guests in making informed choices. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong knowledge of beverage service, including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Ability to process cash transactions accurately while demonstrating basic math skills. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices essential for maintaining a clean work environment. Previous experience in serving, bartending, or host/hostess roles preferred; hospitality or food industry background highly valued.
