Responsibilities Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and temperature. Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area. Support with food handling, ensuring all items are stored, transported, and served following food safety standards. Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely when moving supplies, trays, or equipment around the restaurant. Maintain cleanliness in service areas through regular cleaning duties, including wiping surfaces and sanitizing stations. Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments. Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices. Skilled in bussing, serving, and food running with a focus on guest services. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience with banquet service or large-scale events is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail in busy settings.
