Someone who understands that although each server has their own section, every guest is their guest. A person used to a fast- paced environment, is good under pressure, and can keep a smile on their face in the midst of chaos. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using Toast POS system, ensuring all details are correct, reading back the order, and using the toast swiftly and efficiently. Serve food and beverages efficiently, including wine, sake, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating spirits experience and cocktail knowledge Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Skills Extensive food service experience with a focus on fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations Knowledge of wine types, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for accurate order entry and cash handling Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management systems is a plus Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences through exceptional service, culinary expertise, and vibrant hospitality!
